Mike A Horton General Manager,
Moog Aircraft Group Sector - Sensor
Mike Horton
leads Moog Aircraft Group Sensor Business, co-founded Crossbow Technology Inc.
and has served as its President
& CEO, and a Board Member, since inception. Horton has led
Crossbow from its founding product line of digital MEMS
accelerometers and tilt sensors to its current market leading
position in smart sensor technology. Horton has closed $25
Million in venture financing for the company, including
investments from Cisco Systems and Intel Corporation. He has
co-authored four issued patents, and he has co-authored
another four pending patents. Horton was named one of the Top
100 Innovators in the MIT Technology Review and was named one
of The Top 50 Movers and Shakers in high technology by
Electronic Business Magazine. He graduated from UC Berkeley
with a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering. |

Ralph Kling Chief Technology
Officer
Ralph Kling is the most senior technical
member of Crossbow's management team, and joined Crossbow is
2006. Kling is responsible for leading the engineering team at
Crossbow and for related efforts for new product strategies,
technical directions, and standards activities. Prior to
Crossbow, Kling spent 16 years at Intel Corporation where he
pioneered Intel's creation of the Imote1 and Imote2 platforms
as Director of the Sensor Network Organization, and was
instrumental in developing certain aspects of Intel's 64-bit
Itanium family of microprocessors. Kling is an inventor on
over 20 pending and issued United States patents. Kling is a
Fulbright Scholar from Germany, and received both Masters and
PhD degrees from the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign. |

Peter Padar Vice President of Quality and
Operations
Peter Padar is responsible for Crossbow's
total commitment to customer satisfaction, Quality, Operations and
IT infrastructure, and joined Crossbow in 2007. Padar brings 22 years
of experience in establishing and strengthening global quality programs,
with exposure to quality management systems and issues on every major
continent of the world. Most recently, Padar was at Elma Electronics,
a global manufacturer of products for housing electronics systems.
Prior to that, Padar was with ELSA AG, a German company that designs
and produces computer graphics boards and telecommunication products.
Padar is a graduate of Technical College of Aachen, Germany with a BS
in Electrical Engineering. He is also a certified QM-Auditor and QM-Manager
by TUV Rheinland, Germany. |

Del
Balan Director of Finance
Del Balan has
supported High Tech companies in the area of Finance for over
20 years. Balan is well versed in the development of financial
programs, establishing international reporting and merger
transactions, including SEC reporting and revenue planning.
Since joining Crossbow in 2008, Balan has implemented several
improvements to the financial transactions procedures and
reassessed the Corporate Audit process, resulting in higher
efficiencies and significant cost savings. Prior to this
position, Balan was the Controller at Electroglas, Inc. Balan
has supported several Fortune 100 companies in his career,
including Credence Systems, Sun Microsystems, and Applied
Materials. Balan received his BS in Commerce from the Far
Eastern University in Manila, Philippines. |

Anelle A. Jackson Director of Human
Resources
Anelle Jackson joined Crossbow in 2008
and has over 10 years of HR Experience. Jackson oversees
all aspects of Human Resources including Recruitment &
Retention, Performance Management, Benefits Administration,
Employee Relations, Training, and Compliance programs. Jackson
re-organized the HR department by implementing automated
systems to reduce paper intensive procedures thereby bringing
the company to compliance for several EEOC and Labor Law
requirements. Before Crossbow, Jackson worked in the
Human Resources groups of Safeway Corporate and Sanmina-SCI.
Jackson holds a BS Degree in Business Management from the
University of Phoenix and is a member of the Society for Human
Resource Management (SHRM). |
