Towed Sonar Arrays demand an accurate and very small heading sensor. Crossbow has used its magnetic and MEMS accelerometer expertise to create solutions tailored for use in these applications. The CHS110 and CHS090 products are small, low power heading sensors operating from a single +5V supply. They provide heading information in any orientation, and are qualified for operation in deep water with pressures up to 2500 psi.
